LUCIA ZAHARA:

Free spirit, nomadic by nature, she has spent the last 15 years rediscovering the creative wisdom contained within dance, on a journey that has taken her from Andalusia to Rajasthan, a journey which has inspired her profoundly in her art and life. She is currently based in Sicily and is the artistic director of the 'Bohemian Fest'. Lucia is a versatile dancer with a volcanic energy and is much in demand performing and teaching at festivals, artistic and cultural events around the globe, (Italy, Spain, Uk, Tunisia, Turkey, India, Korea, America, Greece, Malta...) Lucia brings with her a rich reportoire of dances that span from India to Spain, both traditional and innovative, based on her dance training of Romani (gypsy), Tribal dances of North Africa, Middle Eastern, Persian, Kathak,

Flamenco and the Taranta traditions of Southern Italy. Lucia generously embraces sharing her expertise, to inspire other dancers to connect to to the vital energy force and to reach their inner potential through dance. Always interested in pushing the boundaries and working towards keeping the ancient wisdom alive through all expressions of art. Her theatrical work has also been financed by the European Union, ('Anima Mediterranea' 2007 and 'La Dea si Rivela' 2008), other works include 'Romani trail a journey of duende', 'Il volo dei uccelli'... She dances in the Persian Company 'Simurgh' and with numerous world musical groups, has been on tour with ‘Ifriga’ a Tunisian Berber group, has collaborated with many international artists and was guest of honor at the televised ‘premio teleton 2007’. Lucia has also run children's theatre groups in Busan S.Korea 2001-2002; Has worked as a street fire artist in Italy, Uk, Spain and in Greece. Lucia also with her family have a unique little street artist drama company ' Compagnia dello Ionio' which they perform with dance and live music captivating audiences with there stories of wisdom where ever they go. Lucia is trained in yoga (India, Uk, Italy), Reiki (India) and has a degree in the arts (UK) and is member of the International Dance Council CID of UNESCO 
AMEL TAFSOUT:
The legendary Amel Tafsout, meaning ‘Hopes of Spring’, is an inspirational first source master dance artist, choreographer, instructor, frame drummer, singer, energy worker and one of the finest exponents of North African traditional and contemporary Maghreb Dance of our time. With a research in dance anthropology, and a long training in various healing practices, Tafsout’s knowledge of her culture and her experience in many dance styles and music make her very unique.
Raised in Algeria among the finest traditional dancers and musicians, Tafsout was fascinated by dance and music since childhood. In her early twenties, Tafsout moved to Germany where she founded the Pan Arabic dance company 'Banat As Sahra'. In the late 80s, she moved to London, U.K. where she taught and performed at various dance and music festivals and founded 'The Tafsoutettes' Dance Company. While currently living in the U.S.A. she is still performing and
teachingworldwide.
Tafsout is like a voyager between countries, culture and languages. Having worked and lived all over the world, unsurprisingly, migration has been a constant theme in her work. Fluent in 5 languages, she is always aware of the impact that cultures have in art and how that can be expressed in dance.
Amel has lectured, danced, taught, sung and conducted anthropological research in many countries. She has been featured in various TV programs in Europe and North Africa. She also published many articles related to dance and Maghreb women in academic and popular magazines. Her research focuses on the Ritual in Maghreb dances as well as looking at dance as a healing form. She explores the rich tapestry of movement and rhythm that has woven over time between Spain and the Maghreb, Africa and the Middle East, the Mediterranean Sea and Europe.
Tafsout developed, reconstructed and stylised the Maghreb dances through her dance experience, her research, her teaching and performances. She had mesmerized audiences around the world with the earthy fluidity of her dance, her stunning stage presence and great spirituality.

AMEL TAFSOUT:
Amel, nació y creció en Argelia, enamorada de la música y el baile desde su más tierna infancia; su pasión la concretizó en el estudio de las danzas rituales del Maghreb y de Oriente Medio principalmente. Ella tiene la capacidad de mostrar a traves de sus representaciones la espiritualidad como una parte de la vida diaria, y su trabajo se caracteriza por una búsqueda de armonía entre el Cuerpo, la Mente y el Espiritu. 
 Amel Tafsout, qusignifica "La esperanza de la primavera", es una artista de la danza, coreógrafa, profesora, cantante y una de las mejores exponentes de la danza del Norte de África tradicional y contemporánea de nuestro tiempo. Con una investigación en antropología de la danza, y una larga formación en diversas prácticas de curación, el conocimiento de Tafsout de su cultura y su experiencia en muchos estilos de la danza y la música la hacen única.
Criada en Argelia entre los mejores bailarines y músicos tradicionales, Tafsout estuvo fascinada por la danza y la música desde la infancia. A los veinte años, Tafsout se trasladó a Alemania donde fundó la compañía de danza pan -Árabe 'Banat as Sahra'. A finales de los años 80, se trasladó a Londres, Reino Unido, donde enseñó y actuó en varios festivales de danza y música y fundó "Las Tafsoutettes ' Compañía de danza. Actualmente vive en los EE.UU enseña en todo el mundo.
 Después de haber trabajado y vivido en todo el mundo, como era de esperar, la migración ha sido un tema constante en su obra. Habla en 5 idiomas y es siempre consciente del impacto que las culturas tienen en el arte y la forma en que se puede expresar en la danza.
Amel ha dado conferencias, bailado, enseñado, cantado y llevado a cabo la investigación antropológica en muchos países. Ha aparecido en varios programas de televisión en Europa y el Norte de África. También publicó numerosos artículos relacionados con la danza y las mujeres del Magreb en revistas académicas y populares. Su investigación se centra en los rituales del Magreb , así como buscar en la danza como una forma de curación. Ella explora el rico tapiz de movimiento y el ritmo que ha tejido a lo largo del tiempo entre España y el Magreb, África y el Medio Oriente, el Mediterráneo y Europa.
Tafsout ha desarrollado, reconstruido y estilizado el baile del Magreb  a través de su experiencia, su investigación, su enseñanza y actuaciones. Amel Tafsout hipnotiza por todo el mundo con la fluidez terrenal de su baile, su imponente presencia escénica y gran espiritualidad.

LUCIA ZAHARA:


Lucia Zahara es de esas bailarinas y profesoras artistas 100%, auténtica. Cultiva su arte viviendo en plena naturaleza con su família también artistas. El fruto de sus enseñanzas proviene de sus viajes a las fuentes mismas de la danza. Sigue la línia de otras profesoras que tuve el placer de traer a España ya hace tiempo,como Simona Jovic, Melisdjane etc y que trabajan la danza desde su vertiente cultural y antropológica.
